I won't even go into the massive amounts of snacks and cookies and cheese and pretzels I ate this afternoon. Ugh, believe me, I don't want to relive it all. And I decided I am going to stop pychoanalyzing to figure out the "why". It just happens. Sometimes you just feel like eating like there is no tomorrow. Then, there are other days when you feel like you got this whole healthy eating/weight loss thing in the bag. I'm not going to dwell on it. I think I realized today that "this day" will not be my "every day" like it used to be. I don't want to go back to being that 234 pound girl. I can't even imagine it. So, I'll write this day off and get back on track for tomorrow. My goal (ugh - there's that elusive WORD!) is to have more ON days than OFF. I can do that :)
Alright, I am going to now be Polly Positive and show you all the healthy eats I had today!
I am feeling an addicition brewing for Becca's milkshakes! This morning, I made one with 2 oz. fresh mango, 1/2 banana, 1 tbsp. sugar free, fat free vanilla pudding dry mix, 1/2 c. unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze and ice. So delicious for 2 POINTS...
A while later, I had a Banana Nut Vitatop for 1 POINT...
Lunch was a Dr. Praeger's Tex Mex Burger with lettuce and Laughing Cow on a honey wheat bun. Gotta have the soy chips! And some grapes rounded out this tasty 8 POINT lunch...
And dinner was boneless pork chops with a light mushroom cream sauce, pan-fried potatoes and Gram's green beans for 8 POINTS...
No dessert because...well, you know;) If you can't button your pants, it's not a good idea. But, speaking of dessert..... I won the BSI challenge this week with my Chocolate Banana Cupcakes with Peanut Butter Glaze! Thanks, Lara for that exciting news; it really made my day!
That's all for me, tonight. Hope you all have a great night and don't forget, there's still time to enter my FitNutz giveaway! I'll be back tomorrow night with the winner :)

I can sympathize. I've had those days. I was shocked when I had one once at the peak of my motivation. I try to use episodes such as these to remind myself that vigilance will always be necessary. And remind myself that I'm human. Good luck to you.
Congratulations on winning the BSI challenge! The cupcake recipe sounded awesome! :)
Yup, "sucky" days suck...And I think they happen to all of us... You are so right, it's so important to realize that tomorrow is a new day and that one "bad" day doesn't mean all days will be "bad."
Hey, don't fret....we ALL have those days! This past Saturday I ate a HUGE bowl of chili with two different types of melted cheese all over the top from Sagebrush Steakhouse. Man it was good, but SO bad for me. I'm sure I took care of more than half my daily pts on just that one dish. Dust yourself off and try again....
I have had those days in the past. Keep plugging away and stay positive - you will feel better
Seriously, don't beat yourself up! Some days are better than others...tomorrow is always a new day! Hang in there, you're doing great! Have a great Tuesday!
Congratulations on having the winning recipe with those cupcakes. They looks so great. Can't wait to try out your WINNING RECIPE!
You are such a motivation to me and others. Of course we're going to have those days and that's what makes it all real for everyone. We are going to have those days and now we know how to deal with it. This is the rest of our life.
I had a pity whiny party over at my blog yesterday. I have been struggling with getting my mind back in the game of healthy eating and exercising.
I will be a Positive Polly today. LOL
Thanks for your post. It really is helping me today.
One reason you lost control may very well be chemical.Depending on where you are at in your hormone cycle, your body may have take all of this very yummy and low point food as a carb overload , converted it to a major sugar whollup and started the downslide. It does not happen to everyone but when it does it can impact your appetite, your mood, your attitude and more. Women in particular, because of the wonderful( and fearful) way our bodies are designed to carry children, can become real slaves to the biochemical responses. Somewhere around midpoint in our cycles our bodies are wired to "fill the larder" in preparation for a possible pregnancy, and then goes through a metabolic roller coaster ride in preparation to shed the evidence if pregnancy does not occur.Sometimes awareness of how our own bodies respond to this chemical ebb and flow can really help when attempting weight loss. Planning a blow out at times of our bodies needs can bring more control and a better rate of success the remainder of the time. It's worth investigating if nothing else.
Thank you SO much for sharing your struggle yesterday. I think it was so brave. You didn't have to share this with us but you did and to me that is a big step in the right direction. Being honest and true about what happen.
Believe me I totally understand what occurred to you yesterday. But the point is that you didn't let it sabotage all your hard work thus far. You will put it behind you and move forward that is success in my book.
Here is hoping today is a new and fresh day!

We all have those days, don't beat yourself up. Tomorrow is a new day, new attitude!
Marisa, you don't lose over 70 pounds by sucking at weight loss and healthy living. You had an off day. That's all. :)
I made a strawberry milkshake yesterday and it was awesome! Oh yum. yes, an addiction.
Congrats on the win. I really want to make those cupcakes. I LOVE cupcakes.
And those pan fried potatoes seem to be calling to me too. :)
