I woke up starving this morning. I normally wait to eat breakfast until after I take the daughters to school, but I couldn't make it today. I made a bacon, egg and cheese sammie using 2 egg whites, 1 slice center cut bacon, slice of 2 % cheese on an Arnold Sandwich Thin for 3 POINTS...
Then it was scrub, scrub, scrub. I tried to make sure to alternate scrubbing between right and left arm to get the appropriate workout on each side. What??? Who thinks of this while they are cleaning? I really need to get out more. Many squats later, I decided to break for lunch. As soon as I thought about lunch, I was instantly starving and a bit shaky, too. I went for the first thing I saw which was turkey and a wrap. I made a turkey and cheese wrap using 2 oz. turkey, 1 Laughing Cow Light Wedge and a handful of baby spinach wrapped in a La Tortilla Factory Tortilla Wrap. Some soy crisps and grapes were a go-to side. A quick 6 POINT lunch...
Nice fairy tale, but I finished up just in time to pick up the daughters. Again, I was starving. What is up with that??? I had 1 oz. pretzels and a lite string cheese for a good 3 POINT snack...
Then I had more and more pretzels. Ugh. I think I've learned my lesson with the pretzels. Can't eat them because they cause me to want more snacks. I'm not looking at this as a set back today. I have 35 Weekly Allowance POINTS to use, so although I didn't calculate what I oversnacked on, I will cross off my WAP and continue on without using any more this week. So, it's all good :)
Dinner was one of the cook -ahead meals that I made yesterday - Ham, Lentil and Kale Stew. Very healthy and filling. I added some pasta to the husband's and daughters' bowls, but I ate mine straight up. A serving is 1 1/4 c. and 5 POINTS...
To go with it, I made cornbread muffins (2 POINTS) and Easy Rolls ( 1 POINT). I had one of each...
For dessert, I chose these...
For dessert, I chose these...
I really like these cookies; they are chewy, full of chocolate chips and only 1 POINT. They are individually wrapped, too which is a very good thing...
Would you like to try them???? Well, my Weight Watchers pal, Lyndsay noticed that many of you said you would like to try the Banana Walnut Muffins when I reviewed them this day, so she has kindly offered to send 3 winners a coupon for a free package of a Weight Watchers Sweet Baked Good (max. value $4.99) which includes cakes, muffins, cookies or brownies! Isn't that cool??? So, if there is a Weight Watchers goodie that you have wanted to try, now's your chance! Just leave me a comment and consider yourself entered! Unfortunately, I can only offer this to USA residents. ( I know, I know - sorry to my Canada/oversees peeps!) I'll pick 3 winners which I will announce tomorrow night, so hurry and leave a comment!!!
Have a great night =)

Nice job on the cleaning! You put me to shame! haha.
The only ww snack I have tried is the carrot cake bars ~ they are excellent (I just wish they were bigger!) They have some new ones though I would like to try, like the cookies, and the vanilla cake bar...
Oooh oooh!! I would love to try the muffins. I am in love with the PB and chocolate chip cookies. I've tried the little cakes too, but never the muffins.
I hand scurbbed our floors about a month ago - right before the wedding. They looked great...until the hubby and puppy came home. But at least for a few hours, I had the satisfaction, and like you I got a great work out in.
Those cookies look delish. (Crosses fingers and hopes to win)
Love your blog, I read it everyday as motivation! And who doesn't love a giveaway?? :)

cleaning definitely counts as a workout, especially when you are doing it for 5 hours -- wow!!
thanks for the giveaway :)
It has been cold and rainy here the last 3 days as well, and it makes it really hard to get motivated enough to do anything outside. I think it is because our brains at this time of the year still remeber winter too well, and rain looks too much like snow in the making.
I love the stew idea ! I keep looking for a way that our gang will enjoy kale. It is so good for you, but so far none of the ways i have played with it have been acceptable here. I keep trying though !
Uggs, I am constantly battling foods that trigger uncontrollable eating. Frustration at it's worst!!
Way to go for using those extra points you had stored up!!
Hmmm, I'd like to try the WW Carrot Cakes!!
I'd love to try any of the products! yummmmy btw-you're so inspiring!

I have noticed that pretzels set me off too. As do low fat animal crackers. Which I never liked until I couldn't have them. Ha ha! :) You are doing soooo much better than I am though. And please, will you come wash my floors? I have little ants in varying stages of dying or death writhing around in many spots in my house. Love that Terra poison! :)
I would love to try those WW cookies!!!
