Rise & Shine, It's Pumpkin Time

I did NOT want to get up this morning. I had a bad night sleep and felt fatigued. I was in no mood to workout either, but I figured I would get started and do what I could do. I ended up doing a good job - 30 min. on the elliptical and 15 min. on the Wii Fit!

Today I thought I would try to incorporate as much pumpkin in my meals as possible since I have so many cans of it. For breakfast I had a piece of Whole Grain Pumpkin Bread (I did put a tbsp. of mini chocolate chips in the batter - so those are the dark spots you see) and 1/3 c. of nonfat cottage cheese with pumpkin butter and a sprinkle of bran cereal...

I really like this bread. I think I will be eating the whole thing. Not all at once. I hope :0

I had the same kind of restless night myself. I got lucky and those raindrops stopped so I was able to take my walk. Enjoy reading your blog.
