Out with the Old, In with the New

I did it. I got rid of the old bad guy chips that have yucky stuff in them. I still think they taste great and it's hard to find a chip that you can eat a boatload of and only use 1 pt. But, I found my replacement and I can definitely live with these! They are Kettle Bakes Potato Chips. They are real sliced potatoes and they taste terrific. I got the barbeque flavor which was very good - just the right amount of flavor. A 1 oz. serving (huge, these guys are light as a feather) is 120 cal., 3 gr. fat (.5 sat. fat), 2 gr. fiber and 160 mg. sodium...

I couldn't just eat chips for lunch (uh, maybe I could??!!) so I made a wrap using my 1 pt. tortilla spread with a wedge of Laughing Cow Light Cheese, a bunch of fresh baby spinach, roasted red pepper and 2 oz. chicken. It was delish. I had a handful of baby carrots, too. It was a pretty colorful lunch...

While I was out running errands, I came across this tea by Bigelow. The name cracked me up - Eggnogg'n !!! I love the tobogganing penguins! I know, I'm easily amused. I had to try this right away. It was really nice; I loved the smell the most. Very Christmasy. I had some grapes and a Kashi TLC Pumpkin Spice Flax Granola Bar. These granola bars are crunchy and you get 2 in the pack. Sometimes I just eat one, but I ate it all today since dinner was going to be a little later tonight.

I had to have something quick-made tonight since we get home late from little daughter's dance class. The husband and daughters had their usual "breakfast for dinner" and I opted for some turkey black bean chili that I had in the freezer. I always forget how good and filling this is. I had a zucchini corn muffin in that freezer, too. It was perfect with the chili...

I did feel fairly full, but there was one lonely piece of my Banana Bread left in the fridge, begging for my attention. I made it nice and toasty in the toaster oven and spritzed it with a little I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray...

Sniff, sniff. I'll see it again one day....:)

Can you list the measurements of the ingredients for the soup? It looks delicious.
Also, the tea & granola bar flavors are right up my alley. Should have read this post before I went food shopping last night.
Congratulations on the 2lb weight loss.
